When we were asked to sponsor a whole racing series, we jumped at the chance. We quite fancy the Bernie Ecclescake lifestyle of Monaco apartments, superyachts and models in D&G shades. But this is Dodo Juice and our budget is measured in free pots of wax and spare change from down the back of pj's sofa. So we put our corporate support behind the wonderful people who run The 2009 Fuchs Rallycross Open Championship.

Now, this isn't Formula One - the pit babes tend to be 20 stone blokes from Doncaster in blue boiler suits - but it's got excitement, passion, stuff crashing and a Thermos or ten of hot tea. The cars also get muddy, which means people need car wax. Or so we justified to ourselves as we grinned and high-fived our way towards a whole season of VIP tickets at Rallycross Open events. You can see the action for yourself at one of the fixtures, or you can catch the madness on Men and Motors. What's more, if we bung one of the drivers successfully, they'll even spin out in front of a Dodo Juice banner and get us millions of pounds of TV coverage.
