Dodo Dom and KDS Kelly - its a Supernatural job.
Supernatural on the inside, Supernatural on the outside.

pj and I tend to be too busy doing stuff at Dodo HQ, like milking or shaving the choicest dodo birds, to spending all of our time detailing cars. But we do like to keep our hand in (detailing wise, not dodo birds wise). Therefore, if a special invite comes in from a top detailer like Kelly at KDS Keltec, one of us has to put the dodos down for a second, and get the Chicago Pneumatic cranked up to six on the dial. In this case, it was me.

Now, anyone who’s anyone in the detailing community has done a Veyron or an Enzo. Probably for free, with a bit of begging, and the wool pad probably stayed in the posh 3M trolley. But few people have done a hearse. And even fewer have done a hearse with the sixth sense’s favourite wax – Supernatural.

So how could the dodo resist? I spent two days with Kelly working on one half of the black beasty, and it had the trickiest single stage paint known to mankind. Tough to correct initially, yet touch it with a soft microfibre on the wipe down and it scratched like Grand Master Flash. After a lot of effort, I got rid of all but the deepest scratches and that’s when Kelly got going. Pedant, perfectionist or downright deity... the man knows no sensible limits. And he did all of his side as well. Far better and quicker than I could manage. I really don’t like door sills. Or B pillars. I’m a bonnet detailing kind of guy, it has to be said.

We then slapped on some Supernatural and Blue Velvet Pro, and the owner, Mr F, was overjoyed. A good result, and great times thanks to Kelly and his excellent and friendly crew (Greg, John and Tracey).
