Mini Festival - Happy birthday, dear Mini, happy birthday to you.
The Mini is 50 years old. So we made it some wax as a special Dodo treat.

After playing around with the idea of a layered red, white and blue wax, we realised that it would be perfect to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the cheeky four wheeled legend, the Mini. And what better show to launch it than at the Mini Festival in July, held at the Heritage ‘this is what we did when we used to make cars in the UK’ Motor Centre, at Gaydon...

So after blagging a Mini for the launch (thanks Alex!) pj slapped some Austintacious (for that is the name of the Mini wax) onto a Mini bonnet and then did his best QVC commentary to the camera for the MiniWorld camera crew. May Gawd bless Austintacious and all those who purchase her.

And if you’ve never been to the Heritage museum at Gaydon, it’s well worth a visit. Friendly staff, exhibits you can get up close to, and a very clean and modern café – although it is a bit pricey.
