And our best? Maybe. We certainly quite like Gaydon as a venue but we were a little bit more distant from proceedings than the first couple of shows we attended there. We were in Windy Field 3, about 20 mins walk from the museum entrance, just beyond Windy Fields 1 and 2, and a lively amble away from The Tarmac Donut Arena. Despite a semi-distant location, our bright banners attracted a fair few customers and even more wasps, three of which were killed humanely in the interests of science. It didn’t rain, the sun came out and we saw Wibbers from Raceglaze and Thorney from Thorney Motorsport, who qualify as old chums of the Dodo. Dom had a can of almost-cold lager as well, which always makes shows more enjoyable.
