Hi there, firstly, sorry for the long post... here goes...

Lots of people like myself have no outside tap/pressure washer.. No I realise it's quite easy to hook a hose up inside, however I don't have a machine polisher either.
So my cleaning consists of the following...
Wash using 2 Bucket method with Supernatural,
***thinking of getting clay bar for stage 2, currently onto stage 3***
Lime Prime/Lite depending on condition of car/paint
Wax - currently with Supernatural, however liked the hand application of Light Fantastic, so thinking of the Soft Wax for Red cars... Banana Armour is it?

The reason for the above is, there doesn't seem to be a Sticky with how to guides, either for a normal weekly clean, or a full detail by hand. I realise there isn't the above for machines either, but felt that a forum like this could probably do with this information as whilst I am familiar with the products, I am an amateur in terms or detailing.

Thanks

Sam

Sam,

For the red, you would be better with Orange Crush, it just adds a little more depth to the original colour.

As for a guide, well what you are doing is best for your situation....im sure someone (maybe Paul as he is good at guides) will write an in depth guide.

Yes you can, even better would be layer a hard wax then a soft wax on top, get the best of both worlds :)

if you go onto the main dodo juice website (not the forum, the main homepage) theres a section headed 'detailing your car' which runs through some of the basics.

The product pages on the main www.dodojuice.com forum have a bit of extra info (product specific) and there's a main detailing guide, but ideally we'll get around to a more comprehensive section here, inc vids. Time is against us, that's all it is. We're still working hard improving and developing products (and dealing with sales) so that robs the time we'd like to put in to 'how to' guides.

So the Soft wax first, then a layer of the hard over the top?

no mate, hard first then soft. the hard wax will give the paint some protection, the soft wax will add some wetness (and orange crush does it in spades!)

As in the same time period, so Hard wax, let it haze, then buff off, then Soft immediately after? Sorry for all the questions lol, bit of a novice lol... I do have some Supernatural would that combine with the Soft?

No problem mate, pretty new to this myself and the only way to learn is to ask, never apologise for that :)
You should alway leave about an hour between coats of wax to be safe. Supernatural is a very good quality medium wax, if your going to use it, either use it under the orange crush or just on its own. There's a great piece on using supernatural wax in one of the topics on here somewhere. If I can find it I'll point you in the direction.

Yep, spot on. The guide is in the dodo detailing doctor section under the heading supernatural.. The missing manual.
