Hmm well i made the brew up and sat it aside, explained to the GF not to touch it or look at it or anything and left to go to work for the grave yard shift so i got home around 12...
The middle area in the centre of the top of the jar looks like it has been dabbed with something but the girlfriend totally denies it so i was a little bit annoyed that had happend but i have no doubt with a little smoothing it will look great, it just didnt have the just poured look so better practice on the second kit and may be i will make this one at the folks or in the garage with a stove
Over all it was all very exciting and it smell great for having no added scent so to speak!
Top job as always to the dodo team for such an inovative idea!

wOW now theres an offer not to miss, you could get a hard and soft version??
The homebrew kit is a bit more special and fun and perhaps based losely on hard candy so you wont be disapointed, at 7 this evening i will be at the 24hr mark in the cooling so just another day to go after that.
I am wondering what happens if you re heat the kit does it lose any of it original goodness?

I don't have a kit (yet), but would call it something like Witches Brew.

Orca wrote: Good work! It's good fun, isn't it? Regarding the dinch in the top of the wax - mine did similar. It just dropped a little in one place: http://www.pjgh.co.uk/gallery_albums/do ... Hey mate i tried mine out last night and against a wax of over £100 in value and the Homebrew left the panel feeling smoother that the expensive wax!
I just cant get over how addictive the scent is, i love it!!
As for the making it is great fun doing it and it really does make you feel your a part of it, its just keeping grubby hands away from it in the cool process!
It goes one very easy and comes off a breeze as the dodo waxes do so all good i think i should get my home brew badge now

Little note to everyone, pouring into pots is a nightmare!
We now have 4 50ml pots, and one little full of crumbs lol but 4 useable pots and a bit of a mess!
