What was it that made you buy a Dodo Juice product and what was it?

For me it was PH Pro wax - fancied trying a new wax and DJ waxes were getting very good reviews. I was not disapointed - which probably like most, lead to purchasing more items!

:D

I heard about dodo quite late compared to some, but a friend told me about the brand and his friend had raved about it.... After reading about all the different waxes I decided on BA for my red civic..... I went on from there

i went to my friend's house and saw how he had converted his kitchen into what looked like a small time narcotics lab, bags of wax chips everywhere and the undertone of strong solvents venting into the air. he was boiling up some paste in several small glass jars strewn over the counters.

i was curious - then Dom told me the name and i was hooked 8)

Dodo for lifE.

And to think you only went over to borrow his lawnmower. Oddly you don't have a lawn..........

I was looking for a wax, read several reviews on SN and bought a panel pot. Once buffing a panel, it was a love at first sight.

God told me to do it........

Seriously.........

Well kind of, the name just kept cropping up on various forums and shows etc and when i saw some for sale there was just something that drew me to the funky packaging compared to other "More inferior" products on the market and before i kind of knew what was happening had a substabtially lighter wallet and a bag full of brightly coloured products that turned out to be second to none when used.

Converted to the dark side there and then and never looked back.........

Divine intervention....... maybe

Well I started making wax on my stove at home and after purchasing a whole lot of ingredients, I realised that there was some serious BS out there and so a wax made from the mythical and rare ingredient of dodo extract was born. Bizarrely, if a certain thousand pound superwax had been worth every penny, I wouldn't be doing this, as the opportunity to make a rival product and sell it for far less without the BS was why I am here. And the fact I thought we could outbrand, outmarket, outmanoeuvre and outservice the lumbering corporations already in the car care industry 8)

I got into dodo juice on an impulse buy. Detailed Image had Light Fantastic on there daily special so I just said what the hell and fell in love after that. Dodo Juice is the first and only "boutique" wax I own or will ever own. You don't mess with perfection.

I'm trying to remember what was my first dodo product, I bet it was a SN panel pot. But the first product that I really enjoy the most was LP. Buying it with a soft paint car's, knowing that it could mary, I was brave :P

BTW I never notice any marr using LP!

My first DJ product was Red Mist Tropical which I received as a gift 2 years ago when I ordered some detailstuff at the Dutch Carclean website (the shop where PJ was at the meeting in Holland).

Never heard of DJ before and didn't use it actually... until I started using it!!!! :o Wow, this was simply awesome! 8) From that moment on I wanted to know more about DJ and bought other DJ products.

In the mean time, I even received a new sprayhead from Dom when my Red Mist sprayer broke (talking about customer care: thanks Dom! ) It's great being a Dodoholic! 8)
