By hand is the ONLY way to spread a soft wax. We dont have cold days here Very Happy

I find im using about 10mls of wax per car doing it by hand. Its super dooper thin. Although by hand has nothing on the Machine stick. omg im in love with that product. You can prime and wax a car in less than 30 mins

Well, at the weekend was the first time i waxed a whole car by hand, i am definately converted !

The sense of satisfaction in how well the paintwork feels, used the same, maybe less wax, but a lot easier to take off again. Got a lot of strange looks from people passing by Laughing What i did it with was Supernatural probably verson 1 in the wooden pot as i did what someone else suggested and knocked it out and used it like a soapbar as such Smile

Ill have it posted up in the next detail i post Smile

to me - there is no feeling like running your fingers over the smooth, soft feeling body. smuthering it with lush portions of sweet smelling wax and then BUFFING it down after.... (sorry, got carried away there, what are we talking about)

That's excatly what I was about to say. Applying the wax by your hand makes our kinda extraoridinary passion even MOAR extraordinary. I just love to work with hands with beautiful cars - when you can feel the smoothness, all lines, curves and shapes. It's a whole new experience to be honest. Sure, regulary I'm using pads, but when it comes to some special product/car/good day, and I have time for it - I will always go with hand application.

Has anyone used the Dodo Juice Finger Mitt Wax Applicator?? Looks like you use it with 3 fingers inside a pouch so should get the best of both worlds foam pad but with finger/hand feel!

I go with the Dodo & Music Man...The pure sexiness of following the cars contours and the smooveness of the paint makes me all dreamy.... I also like the control around all the nooks and crannies.

Well.. When I waxed my car I used the Dodo Juice Finger Mitt Wax Applicator.. but next time I'll try by hand!!

By the way.. how do you do it!? You take out the hole piece of wax and rub it in your hands and spread along the paint or you just use it like if you were wearing an imaginary finger mitt!?
