Health and Safety
Is there anything safety-wise I need to worry about?
No, not really. Make sure you keep car care products away from pets and children, because ours smell quite tasty, but can't be eaten. If you have sensitive skin, apply them with some of those kinky surgical gloves you secretly love (solvents can dry out skin or cause a rash with sensitive skin). Keep waxes away from naked flames as they contain solvents. And don't put jars in the microwave to soften or remelt the wax. Small explosions can damage your health.
I have a nut allergy, do your products contain nuts?
Some of our products contain coconut oil, though to be honest a coconut is called a nut but it doesn't fit in a nut cracker so I am not sure whether it counts. Diamond White contains a very small amount of almond oil, so stay clear of that bad boy. If in doubt, try Supernatural as it is free from unnecessary stuff, consult your doctor, contact us, or do all three.
What is MSDS data and where can I find it?
The Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is official health and safety information for a product or type of product. It basically tells the emergency services what is in the product if someone eats it or there's a fire in a warehouse. Some of the solvents in some of our products are flammable, for example. The MSDS data sheets for our products can be found here.
My dog/budgie/child has eaten some wax/swallowed some polish? What next?
Keep all car care products out of reach of children and pets. There's often some solvent in the products, so even though they smell nice it will be a bit like eating paint. Not tasty and definitely not recommended. If this happens, the general rule is not to induce vomiting and seek medical attention (but check the MSDS information for the specific product as the procedures can vary).
