| We always get lots of questions about applying Dodo Juice waxes by hand. pj's manual technique is second to none, so here's his take on the subject. |
First things first. The better the paint surface, the better the shine. We have prepared this with some special Dodo Juice pre-wax cleanser after a nice shampoo wash (using the Bolivian Four-and-a-Quarter bucket technique). |
OK, time to get juiced up. Grab your Dodo Juice soft wax (you can't apply hard waxes by hand) but don't stick your fingers all the way in. just gently rub them on the surface. Once you have mastered the technique, your car will be shiny and your girlfriend will never leave you. |
Next, slap it on. Let's get you some flesh on metal action, baby! But watch the finger nails and that signet ring. The tips of the fingers are all you need. |
Here's the panel post-smothering. A nice covering of fresh Dodo Juice all over. It's at this point that you should breathe in and smell the aromatic essence of Dodo. Watermelon, in this case, as we're using Rainforest Rub. |
Dodo Juice cures in about 5 minutes, or less on dark coloured cars on hot days. You'll see it haze over to a matt finish, but don't leave it to 'cake' on - it can be much more difficult to buff off. |
Using a nice clean microfibre cloth, buff off the waxed panel until it looks like a reflective pool of slippery wet shinyness. |

Here it be buffed and shiny. |
| Here it be not. See the difference? |
|
The result. an INSANE SHINE. |
.that's so wet you could swim in it. |
